Billy, how about a different channel so we can keep conversations private and not have to talk over everyone else?

BTW Selsey is NOT fishing - but then again am I lying?

Hi Skillpot,

Is there any relyable history to suggest where plaice are likely to show up. Do they return to the same breading grounds each year or is it down to pure luck. The only area which I have caught plaice is off Brownsea Island. I did intend to try the oystrer banks near Bourne Gap.

the blocks and along eastney has always produced plaice, not as many as years gone by. same with hayling, in front of the funfair or eastoke always throws up a few. they are looking for musssel beds, find these and you will find plaice. very patchy and very hit and miss, but unless you can push out far theres not much else to fish for.

il be trying the weekend, not quite sure where yet tho.
