Hi Guys wonder if anyone knows of a supplier of wheelhouses off the shelf, the type that sit on a high foredeck, so not floor standing.
Basically going to rip out any remaining ply from my colvic 20 and replace with grp but i cant find a supplier of anything ready made, any advice?
I have found lots of deck mounted free standing affairs for commercial boats etc but i want something more like this

Go back to the builders most boat firms sell boats in kit form for home finishing, see if you can just get the wheelhouse, worth a try, good luck with it.

another option might be worth a try is see if gary flyer on the wsf could make you one, i see a couple of guys on here have had there boats rebuilt by him and looked pucker, bully was one, cant remember the other chaps name.
if you have to measure it, its too small!!

Cheer Billy
I have emailed a couple of firms that do moldings etc to see if they can oblige but i think the price for a 1 off might be a little more than i am willing to pay.
The boat after all is never going to be worth much and ive got designs on something faster when i have cash saved, just want to make this one a little more comfortable for now and not likely to fall apart in a heavy sea!
How do i get in touch with this Gary Flyer?

Garry is doing some work for me, he can definitely make you a wheelhouse but as a one-off it won't be cheap but it will be good quality.
