All I saw was people advising that 25 miles out was not a likely option in a boat that could be stored in a garage. People offered boat / engine combinations that they thought were safer alternatives.

So we went out Saturday morning and did a circular trip round the Cambrian, the Forts, Sturbridge and South Parade Pier in the rain and wind.   Only two mackerel, ten shads, and a few five inch bass!

No....  but we didn't go for long. Had breakfast at the marina cafe, and then back in for 12.30.

Once we were east of the Cambrian it was fine, with a small chop.   The rain squalls were pretty grim though !

Keen, very very keen... I was going to bake a cake instead (Had orders for Lemon Drizzle and Cherry cakes) but decided to sort my tackle out instead . Took the underwater camera down to check the prop anode (Looks good for a while yet)so as long as this period of inactivity doesn't stimulate the slime growth to much should be ok for a few more months before lifting and scrubbing.
