xc weather  for forecasts  chimet for weather now  just remember its only a forcast  its best to look after 6pm the  day before

Get yourself a handheld marine VHF and listen to the Coastguard at half past the hour every three hours. Channel 23 for the Solent.

Alternatively you can go and get a bit of seaweed from the beech, you might find that a little more accurate than the weathermen half of the time. LOL

I always use XC weather, and look at the "St Catherine" arrow.  Give's  a good indication of what it's going to be arounf the Nab etc.  Also, as Ray says, try to check again after 6pm the day before.

Has anyone used www.windfinder. This was very accurate over the new year. Don't be fooled by the name as it gives forcasts for every 3 hours and includes all data required.
