That's Dave pitman on the boat Atlanta, he's had 5 over 19lb all at anchor, but struggled on the drift coz the waters to dirty and there's no live launce or mackerel about. Same with all the charters, but the plaice fishing has come alive with some stonking ones about. Only a matter of time before it really kicks of on the shambles tho.

Mark, it ranges from 25 metres deep at the edges to as shallow as 15 metres along the highest parts of the bank. If we drift from east cardinal to west cardinal, it's about 3 miles long. Getting excited about catching dem turbos

It drifts funny on the shambles. Most drifts are short bout 300 odd yards and then you start again. It's about 40/50ft deep.

Good luck tomorrow guys

Nobody else has mentioned it so I will!!

The Shambles was absolutely dire today with a swell up to three metres, very cold and no fish. Well not quite, one doggie to Paul and a launce to me. Plus one mussel, a piece of weed and two broken shells.

Even the launce failed to attract any fish in four drifts. Tried for the Plaice and Turbot but they just were not there.

Several other boats out there but glum faces on them all.

Unlucky guys, sounds like an uncomfortable one, at least you left some for us next month (is it too early to take the pee?)
