Perhaps someone ought to tell all the poncy Tv chefs that dogfish are a wonderfull fish to eat and is the new turbot just round not flat, that should sort the problem and take the pressure of the Bass stocks !!!

Sunday afternoon in Bracklesham Bay: 8 bream, 2 conger, 2 gar and a herring. I completely forgot I had some pop-ups to try! I was kept busy with conventional bream baits, I missed or lost as many as I landed.

has anyone thought about the fact that we are all getting   dogfish and very little else would it maybe   be the case that there are that many dogs   that target   fish just don't get a chance   to hit ya baits hardly anyoner takes doggers   home they all go back and I don't   think there is any predator that will eat one

I was off Sowley on Sunday, had 11 Bream (small ones) and about 20 dogs.

Was trying out a rig with pop-ups on and it out fished my other rod for Bream without the pop-ups quite noticeably.

Went out east yesterday, few dogs. Nothing at Selsey. Most boats moved on early afternoon. Sea turned lumpy. Ironic but only dogs at the hounds 😁
