Hi Martin, fished off Sowley in 8 metres of water. We anchor amoungst the pot markers to avoid passing traffic. Will adventure past Hurst in June. Dave

That's good news to see the Bream inside the Solent this early. I expect Jeff has had a few!

Maybe I'll get down there one day to have a go sometime.....Maybe!
Keep up the good work!

Will be out again soon for sure.
Hope you are well and have managed some fishing the last months.

Well done for giving it a go Johnny, bad luck for not finding them, but good news of the Mackerel!
I haven't heard of many Plaice down at Milford recently after a good few earlier on.

No, Haven't taken the boat out since last summer sadly. Major renovations at home have put the mockers on it, but I'm not giving up my Wye fishing! I'll PM you.

Went out east yesterday, few dogs. Nothing at Selsey. Most boats moved on early afternoon. Sea turned lumpy. Ironic but only dogs at the hounds 😁

I was off Sowley on Sunday, had 11 Bream (small ones) and about 20 dogs.

Was trying out a rig with pop-ups on and it out fished my other rod for Bream without the pop-ups quite noticeably.

has anyone thought about the fact that we are all getting   dogfish and very little else would it maybe   be the case that there are that many dogs   that target   fish just don't get a chance   to hit ya baits hardly anyoner takes doggers   home they all go back and I don't   think there is any predator that will eat one
