Gave it a go today went over to Sandown lots of boats in there very slow but a few bites and a couple of bream, apart from the inconsiderate boat by the side of us who when they had finished their beer just tossed the cans into the sea, if you can take the full cans with you they are lighter and easier to carrry to a bin when you get home .

Went east yesterday; had 3 plaice at Selsey, a solitary bream in Bracklesham and the usual doggies, smuts etc throughout the day. Disappointing fishing but a superb day to be afloat.

Towed a yacht with engine failure into Langstone last night. They were trying to tow it up the run against the ebb using a 5 foot tender with a 1.5hp engine!!

Good luck! Back to work tomorrow. Fished Selsey yesterday afternoon, just dogfish...
Beautiful weather mind you, saw more garfish...no shoals on the sounder anywhere.
Looking forward to next trip of course!

Managed to sneak a trip in on Monday, just me and the wife. We headed to a new spot I wanted to try up the Western Solent.

Had a few dogs, 4 Bream (missed a few more too) and ended the day with a small Spotted ray. Wasn't a hectic day but enough bites to keep the interest up.

Definitely earmarked that spot for another go a bit later once the Bream are about in force.

Might as well rest that knee all week Ray, fishing was terrible today. 1 dogfish and a surprise 3lb pollock . Tried every tactic and bait available.got a bit breezy too. Tucked in behind calshot as got choppy, what looked like bream were chasing my spoon to the surface but not taking the bait?? Hamble was a blank. Paul
