True. I have been trying to find out more about herring movements in the English Channel but without much success tbh.

Typically I can't get out this weekend, but tides and weather are perfect for my intended spot :(

Good luck whoever gets out

Well the sun shined and the sea behaved.started off on the spoils and had big ray, smoothounds, whiting and far to many doggies. When the tide run I headed to hayling for plaice but it failed after 2 hours of zero fish.last stop was near the forts where some nice smoothounds liked my king rag.lovely to be out but some horrible mist did make visability poor for couple hours lunchtime. Time for cold beer, good luck weekend all.

Out today south of langstone harbour. 3 smoothhound, couple of pups, one undulate and more dogs than I could count. Quiet on the ebb so thinking of having a look around forts on the way back in. Cracking weather, smooth seas, should have ventured further afield in hindsight.
