Starting my weekend with a quick trip out tonight close by. Tomorrow an early start depending on final forecast either out into the channel or Selsey.
Anyone else out and about?
Keeping my fingers crossed for Sunday as well.
Tight lines all.
Johnny

Part one of the plan went well...
Got down the boat about 6 with bait. Within half an hour was out and had a nice plaice. Had another small one and other bits and pieces , smoothound, dogfish, bass and bream.
Now in the marina restaurant for a glass of wine and dinner. Bloody brilliant! 😊J

Nice mixture! Which area was that, roughly? I know where to find those species but not all in the same spot!

Part 2...up and off at 5am. Wonderful red sunrise. Went down to Selsey to see if I could catch more plaice. Bit slow but managed to complete the quotient needed for dinner. Then off to Pullar to catch some tope. Managed to get 4 but none were big. Also had a solitary mackerel ( tope were on frozen from last year)
Last night was the blocks, was certainly surprised by the bream.
Windy tomorrow and Saturday but should be out again Sunday I think.
Anyone else about? Might try some wrecks or maybe just local again round in Sandown.
J

I'll be out Sunday. Not been out properly for weeks. Can't wait to wet the lines again.

Think I am going to spend the day in Sandown to see how many different things I can catch.
It's a shame as I think tides a bit too big for the wrecks.
Looks like it should be flat calm.
see you out there. J
