had a good day with a couple of cod, 1@ 9lb & 1@6lb also brian had a 3lb pollack as well, a bit lumpy to say the least with a lot of white horses about, hoping it would flatten out a bit when the tide got going but stayed with us most the day, lost a good fish half way up was under a bit of load with the wind , glad to catch me little brittle star which was more important,, finally got my mark plotted nowWink  chuffed, had a drift outside the harbour and caught about 50 macks mostly joeys which all went back apart from 4 for eating, in need of supersized scotch now!! cheers billy.

Well done Billy, glad you finally nailed your spot.

Yes, it was a tad lumpy today, we had rollers over 4-5ft, progressively got worse so i decided to move - when i was bringing the anchor in, the bow roller was burying into the oncoming waves!!

Moved back inshore to another mark I knew that was more sheltered - but not really an enjoyable day getting thrown about.... had BBQ fish for tea though and that made up for it.

Wish I had video camera, saw the first "tailwalking" hound, even jumped out of the water!! had so much attitude I thought it was gonna ask me for a fight when I got him on board!
