When I was a young lad I beach fished at park shore and casting out I got a massive birdsnest with my multiplier reel, sat on the beach I tried to untangle it but to no joy.the line in 2ft water took off and I pulled in a 6lb 10z bass by hand.couldnt believe it so went back following week and caught another at 6ld 1oz.amazing stuff, been back at least 10 times since but nothing.ive never taken the boat there but might try one summer's day.
oh well, there is always next weekend!!

This is still a favourite place for me, good bream  smouthound and rays. Fish in 7 metres of water and away from the yellow bouys as they are racing marks for the yachties Never leave your rods unattended or you will loose them!  Have fun.

oh well, there is always next weekend!!

Hoping to get out too. Probably start with Hayling Bay, get frustrated by catching tiny whiting, move to The Blocks, get frustrated by catching whelks, go in early and have a cuppa then post on here saying fishing was rubbish but it was good to be out etc. etc. or I could save a lot of time and money and just post that now.
