Yes it is the SMAC/ECA/SSA boat comp so there will be boats everywhere. Huge tides though.

inter club comp   fished smac eca sth sea angling and the LHFA day started off signing in at southsea marina ruthless was already on the outer pontoon   loads of boats and anglers   on the pontoons all exited about getting out for the faced with a 4.9 tide my plan was to target inshore   marks 1st off went sth of bullocks   1st drop frank had a strap conger   which I followed up with 15 dogs after 4 hrs of very slow   fishing decided to fish the ebb further inshore   this   next mark   about 3 miles   off chi harbour   and was empty   so plonked myself right on the   button and again frank had 1 st fish a thornback ray   which when weighrd in was 10.2 pound   all I had was dogs   then about half an hr   before   we were gonna finish   had a small knock tell tale   of a ray resting on the   bait   so I   picked me rod up an felt a good bite which I wound into and my rod bent   double   after a fight of 10 mins the ray   broke surface I could   see it was a good undulate ray frank was a very good net bitch got it 1st time and it hit the boats   scales of 15 pound   happy   days I though    fished on a while   longer then headed in   we weighed   in and I went 13 pound 15 oz 1 oz   under the specimen weight but enough to win me the trophy 4 clubs fished about 40 peeps entered other fish of note caught were   ling 17 pound wrasse 4 pound bass 9 pound and franks thornback   the LHFA   have the honor of organizeing   next years inter club comp
