That would make sense, they hang out over rocks. I have caught them east of Medmery bank in the deep gully.

Assume this is in daylight. My understanding is that squid are attracted to light so a massive light bulb over the stern at night time with a squid jig could be the ticket!

PS catching loads of nice plaice on the charter up to the east drifting with odd brill but no turbot.

Found 'um! Not big but my first actually targeting them. I could get into this! Over rocks in Hayling bay so I might try an evening sesh when the tide permits.
