Caught my first squid on a lure today, now encouraged to give it a further go...
Out on the wrecks tomorrow, hopefully get something nice for dinner 🐟

Well done Johnny.
Was it intentional or a happy accident?
Good luck tomorrow, how far are you going out?
Martyn

Wrecking was tough yesterday, tried 5 and nothing but pout. Unpleasant sea as well, then anchored at Deans Elbow and caught thornies, smoothound and mackerel. Thought I might get an early cod 😊
Donít think I will bother burning the fuel for the wrecks again.
Will go out tomorrow to try for plaice once more...
Good luckk if you are out too.
