Hey, you should see all the "Twitchers" at Calshot looking through scopes that would dwarf the Hubble Telescope, Apparently very rare here, perhaps the next thing will be Spanish Mackerel, now theres a thought eh?

Have you ever caught those before Andy?????
Cheers For Now, Woody ;-)

Well talking about birds I do have a confession. I am not proud of it but on Tuesday I wound up the uptider for a cast and let fly.

The lead weight actually hit, and decapitated, a Kittiwake in mid flight and the poor thing crash dived minus its bonce into the sea behind the boat.

Complete fluke, never to be repeated - I hope.

Years ago Andy.... I was Mackerel fishing off the end of the Esso Marine Terminal, there was loads of gulls and obviously mackerel and Bass under them. Anyway, I cast into the gulls and the line looped around (A full Half Hitch) the primary feathers on its wing....... it went CRAZY

But it never got killed in the process, lol
Cheers For Now, Woody ;-)

A little, but if you look on you tube at the airport of St Martin with plane takeoff`s, you can imagine some little inocent kid flying a kite then a jumbo jet takes off and an air-sea rescue follows to find your kid a hundred miles offshore from the jet thrust of the plane taking off. lol.lol.lol.
Cheers For Now, Woody ;-)
