Sorry Ray - cannot do as about to go to sunnier climes for some fishing but weather looks like boats can get out albeit an Easterly in it. Just spoke to couple of charter mates & they have been getting a few cod in nab are which is better than this time last year. Good luck all.

I'm secretly hoping it will be postponed due to weather like it has been each time in previous years, because neither me nor crew can make 17th. However, so far the weather is looking good. Gutted.

Hi guys, any news on the cod comp results?? I'm hoping for some good news as weather looked great. Haven't been out in 12 weeks so hoping things are improving as I've experienced one of the poorest years fishing these waters by boat.
oh well, there is always next weekend!!

I was wondering how it went too.  I was out on Sunday in the Solent and the radio was quiet.  We had whiting but no cod.
