Went out today. With a mate Jon tried for. Bream went to the hounds great run down flat as had blenny dogs and pout   Then put plan b into action. Went a bit. Further and tried. For plaice. Had 25 +   During a lull went anc had another go for. The bream. And. Jon had a cracking garfish1.5 pound great. Days fishing biggest plaice was 2,2

A lot better than Sunday! I guess all the boats in Bracklesham Bay flushed them out. No sign of bream then? I was tempted myself yesterday when the plaice fishing dried up midday.

We did see a pod. Of. Dolphins go across the hounds and. Then head off to. The. Streets must have. Been 8 to 12 of them

We are out tomorrow looking for bream and plaice. Got a new shiny anchor so hoping its going to bring good luckSmile. Have noticed the river is full of mullet so the season has started.

Had a sneaky sesh myself yesterday till lunchtime,stayed southampton water and had a busy day with 2lb bass,rays, pout,whiting,dogs,gurnard,smoothound and endless starfish?? Was better than my 1 hour travelling trip last time round bembridge.i think next few weeks will be good with summer species arriving.this time last year had tons mackerel in Southampton water.
oh well, there is always next weekend!!

I was off hamble beach, not far from oil jetty,prob 400 yds out in 40ft water.white boat white cabin. Smell of sausages wafting.
oh well, there is always next weekend!!

Fished Sowley on Thurs tide a bit harder than the east wind so had cold wind in face all day. Beer good but fishing very slow. Caught spotted Ray and dogs with the odd whelk!! Looking forward to fishing in tee shirts
