Well we're just waiting to get a transfer to the airport for our flight back to the uk. What a week it's been, the weather was awesome and the fishing out of this world.

Were add a few pics when were back but we had 2 halibut biggest 50lb, 2 ling to 18lb, around 10 pollock to 15lb, easily a 100 decent coalfish to 27lb 8oz and well over 300 cod with 3 of us smashing pbs!

My biggest was 37lb 8oz, al 32lb 8oz, and Raymond had the biggest with a 44lb whopper. We managed to get out the fjord every day which was lucky as today it's blowing a hoolie.

We moved around to find the fish but the size of them and the quality was on another level. Best bait by a country mile was small coalfish, they were like mackerel, millions of the bu**ers but the bigger fish loved them.

I'll add some pics soon. Can't wait to go fishing now when I'm back, not sure if the motivation will be there mind.

That sounds like an awesome trip guys well done. The fish might be a tad smaller back here tho, lol. You didn't need 300lb of shads and lures then.
god put me on this earth to acheve a certain amount of things in a given time right now i am so far behind i will never die

Mark we fished quite shallow water (under 150ft) most of the time and we lost a lot of gear on the bottom. It took us 3 days to work out how to use the big cut bait shads but once Ray had sussed it for us they were deadly and certainly picked up the better fish. Hugh caught some fantastic fish inl a 25lb cod on his spinning rod and Sandeel type lure.
