Just returned from my holiday in cornwall, whilst there I watched the locals fly fishing for Bass in the Camel estuary on the Doombar  due to spring tides  when the tide flooded back in the Bass came in with it and I couldnt believe the number of fish that we saw no more than about 20 feet from the shore, I did try fishing for them with varius lures but no luck .
Hopefully some of these fish will survive into adult fish over the next few years then I can have a go for them when they are a few pounds in weight.
Caught lots of Mackeral from the rocks around Port Issac and these where a good size also had a few Pollack from the rocks fishing with jellyworms.
