Was a bit slow today we had a few bream, had a nice bass that was returned it best of all had my 1st ever turbot of 5lb

Dave and Caroline, I feel I need to say something as I have experienced big C twice and have had Chemo and still here enjoying life. Everyone reacts in a different way but like Caroline I stuck two fingers up to the illness and got on with it. See you on the Solent and keep catching and reporting on your fishing success. I went to milford. Just one good plaice. Not alot else. A few boats. Lots of moving about so I guess everyone was struggling. Not been plaicing down there before.

Sitting at nab rock. Non stop doggers   1 small bream.. Any tips near by for bream   me boy desperate to catch a decent one today...

Keep ground bait going in any chopped fish was hard going yesterday we used small hooks with floating beads about and thar seemed to get a few.?

Well done on the turbot Dave! Saw you out there and wondered how you were getting on...

Inflatable Man, try Close in by the Whitecliff. You can find rock pinnacles, fish round there,you will see other boats. Small hooks on a flowing trace, trotted back with a small and sharp hook with a sliver of squid works for me. Bites are very fast.

Cheers J.   moved in to blocks now    sea breeze got up and wind against tide. Bit too much.,,only small smouthhound so far couple of boats around me and a trawler...
