It was Caroline's last day of Chemo yesterday.
She still has a long road to go (Herceptin and Radiotherapy)
But she couldn't wait to get back out again so today she was overjoyed to be heading out.
We went straight out to our cod mark and within a few minutes of being there her shout went up "Cod On". She hasn't lost the knack and we were soon hauling cod over the gunnels.
Beautiful day to be out. Brilliant to see her so resilient and in good spirits.
Here are a couple of photos of our 15 bag haul.
She had "First fish, Biggest Fish and Most Fish"...

So sorry to hear about Caroline's health problems, but Blimey, what a woman!
Inspirational!
Not just beating you, that's normal isn't it? :-)  But just look at the smile on her face. She's obviously one tough cookie!

Hope all goes well with the rest of the treatment, but if those pictures are anything to go by, then those fish had better watch out!

Well done Caroline and Dave!! Glad to see you smiling and fishing...
I had some black bream, garfish, a d cent plaice and a small smoothound.
Experimented eating the garfish this evening. Nice firm flesh but even though it was a big one bit of a fiddle faff with the bones.
Hopefully next weekends weather will also be good.
All the best.

So glad to see Caroline's progress, give her a big hug from all of us. She is a brave lady and a totally awesome angler. Good to see pics from the two of you again. What boat are you using now?
