Only one dogfish on the Overfalls, I think the tide was too slow. I counted 17 other boats.  We then went to Utopia and caught a thornback (plus dogfish and mackerel).

Fantastic weather and great to be out again.... pity about the fishing :)

Hugh - Sapphire - Warrior 165.

Ah, that was you in that very smart Warrior.  I keep that forum list in a laminated form on the boat. Now I have a mental picture of Sapphire I'll put two and two together next time. There is always the radio but reception seems to be rubbish between small boats. I can hear larger ones from France LOL but often can't hear a small boat 2 miles away.

That was because I was out Saturday. To be honest I was all fished out by sundown on Saturday. I had done Friday afternoon and evening as well.

Ekyone and I made it out on sunday, fished dean tail loadsa dogs with a few more dogs for good measure, moved closer inshore (Southsea area) that resulted in my first ever mullet (3lb3oz) a trigger fish for ekyone (2lb) and plenty of wrasse up to about 2lb.

not a bad day out all told
