Tony,

I've looked at your account and updated it so you should have access now.

I agree you deserve free access, if you click on 'My Profile' on the 'Login Box' you'll see an option to 'Cancel' about half way down.

Cancel your account so that you won't get charged again, don't worry you should continue to have access for the next 3 months.

After that I will manually update it or if necessary set up a new account for you.

Hope that makes sense, if you want a refund of your last subscription let me know and I'll arrange that ASAP.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Why doesn't this site have a proper "fish identification" chart not just a half hearted bucket of old mackerel that I have seen on here. What's more, there should be a complete chart of hooks and weights showing the different sizes = UK/US. A brief description of all these silly rigs would also be of great help to the novice angler. With fifteen hundred quid going into the pocket of the host each year you could make the site a little more exciting, interesting and informative.

Would love to be out sooner but have to get the boat back from Ireland first. Look forward to posting reports once on the water! Fishing reports at the moment are certainly whetting the appetite... Hi all,

Newbie here.

I have just started boat fishing again after years out, purchased a Wilson Flyer 17 last year, first run out, engine went pop - my fault I should of ran a compression test

Brought a mariner 75, all fitted runs like a dream after being serviced.

Went out last weekend in the snow to the blocks from Woolston, a couple of other boats there to, had nothing, moved back towards the Solent nothing, it was just good to get out really.

Hoping to get out over the Easter weekend to the blocks again.

Evening Sean,

Hope all is well,? and I finally found the time to register. Smile

Looks a very friendly place.  Was watching your post regards a comp?

Understand its off because of the weather, but will doubtless be enquiring about it if its due to be rescheduled.

Of course I will be asking Snowy if hes ok with me following him (AGAIN)... (I owe most of my fish to him!)

Andrew,

As you walk down the ramp (Side entrance) mine is the Arvor 215 (First one in the line of 4)

Are you out regularly? I try and get out as often as possible but last few weeks have been awful.

I managed to get out Tuesday and opted for the Overfalls (Instead of the Plaice) as it was a small tide.

Moved 3 times and I think probably one of the only times I have ever fully blanked with not so much as even a dog..

Hopefully better things to come.

Nice one, You must be a lot fitter than me as that's a long walk. I'm on a roaming berth and they stuck me on K1 a few months ago until I complained about the walk and so they moved me back to F.

I'm out most weekends, will give tomorrow a quick go if its not to rough. See you out there, shout me on the radio if you find any fish !!!
Cheers

Hi All,
Just a quickie to introduce myself. I moved my boat to Gosport Marina from Brighton earlier in the year, having spent about 3 years there. Before that I was on a berth up the Hamble, so it is good to be close to the open sea (well, the Solent anyway).
If anyone wants anything crashed into by a boat, I'm your man.

Gidds

Hi Hchawner,
I think we chatted on the dark side (QS owners) a while ago.
I've got a PH QS640 "Starfish" berthed at Gosport Marina.

Hello everyone,

Recently joined the forum after looking fo a while. I am mostly a shore angler but have recently spent more time boatfishing. My boat is a 4.8m Australian designed runabout in aluminium named Garfish. It is moored at Gosport at fort blockhouse but until recently kept it on a trailer at GDAC. I have had the boat 7 years but really only started using it regulary in the last 2 or 3. Now shore fish less as the matches are now more about luck and not enough fish around to take out the lucky big ones. I am a quantity over quality type of angler. Like to fish light and get plenty of bites. Most fish i catch are returned. Will post a few reports if the weather ever lets us get out this winter.

Hi folks, just checking in for the first time.

After 25 years of diving I have finally given up, bought a yacht and going to sort out my fishing skills when we are tied up in many of the harbours around the Solent.
