I did was totally unexpected I was aiming to be in for 1 as it was supposed to be horrible later it's just one of those things I think glad we came in when we did

thats the weather for you tom, we can all get caught out no ones perfect. i done it a couple of times last year, was giving it a f2 but blew up to f5 in very quick time. but i came straight in like yourself so you done the right thing.

Had a nice double figure smoothhound and a dozen doggies just no bream. Thanks for the mark Hugh

least you had some fish andrew. me and tone fished there on sat and we had 7/8 bream to 1.5lb ish. my mate was right next us (50 yards) hes a charter and had 20 so dont give up on it for bream, its still early.

We chummed it too, never dissappointed when catching no matter what it is.
Looking forward to the engine working next week as that mark at 7kns was a bit painful.

good news, 7 knots is painfully slow but at least you got out. try that mark i gave you on the next set of big tides and you might just bag up.

did you use tiny hooks and strips of squid?

Is bullock patch still a hot spot for the bream ? Its the only mark i know for them.
