Thanks for all the advice. This was one of the average size cod.I am the one in the background!

Best fish were caught using our UK wrecking tactics with a shad or similar on a flying trace. Rest using pirks with shad or similar above. Great sport on 12/ 20lb class rods in up to 70m of water (could not get down further).

Due to weather we were only able to fish 2 of the 3 days. We had loads of coal fish & cod on 1st day & mainly cod on 2nd day as had to fish well within the fjord. No Halibut as best grounds were too exposed to wind which is the critical factor there in terms of drift speed.

Glad you enjoyed trip.norway fjords amazing places.we normally get our biggest cod within 10 mins of pontoon and when the big ones shoal in you can't get get line down quick enough.when my lad gets bit older will definitely take the family.
oh well, there is always next weekend!!
