Just heard from justin from lockstock that a bass weighing 19lb 13oz was weighed in his shop today caught in pompey docks that has broken the british record!!! Caught on a medium sandeel!!!

yep he still has it in the shop & he tells me when it was landed it coughed up a 1 & a half pound pout!
that would have made it over 21lb if it hadnt chucked up up its dinner

am going in tomorrow to get some pics & will post up here over the weekend :)

yep its still there, went & had a look today,  it is an absolute monster
unfortunately no pics allowed until sea angler get there mon/tues but if anyone wants to take a look justin is open tomorrow from 9 til 2,  go & take a look at the new british record!

Wow what a fish just goes to show a fish of a lifetime can turn up anywhere. Bet there will be lots fishing inthe docks now.

It is not allowed Dave, you have to be employed in the yard or be otherwise authorised,
