Looks like we have a nice weather forecast for tomorrow, I am looking to give Medmerry a go, It will be the first time there for me and it's an itch I want to scratch.
My only concern is that the tide will be too much? Looks like quite big springs this weekend and I'd rather not go there if it is going to run too hard and be a pointless trip. Just wondering what your thoughts on the tide were. Thanks |

Had a go at Medmerry, we were greeted by the sight of quite a few boats fishing so that gave us some confidence it was fishable, i had checkdd my tidal stream atlas but I usdd to fish Selsey from the shore and know that the weed can be a real problem.
We managed 4 double figure undulates, I bagged my first Small eyed (after many years trying) my mate topped the day with a very large stinger which after seeing quite a few very large stingers caught from the shore i'm confident would have gone over 60lb, unfortunately we were unable to weigh it. Happily all fish returned and all swam off strongly. |
