Won't happen. The tail end of Hurricane Garry will change course and strong winds and rain will suddenly swing in from the south bringing a storm of tropical proportions including frogs and locusts lasting from Saturday morning to Monday evening. Tuesday will be clear and calm, lasting the week until Friday night when another storm will come in.

I've been on the island all week. Conditions have not been ideal...leaving today with no chance of fishing in the coming week.
I forecast weather will be perfect!
Good luck all.

And I'm off to Cornwall for my nephew's stag do which includes surfing (! at my age?) and rather more importantly, shark fishing! Oh there may be a bit of beer tasting as well.
The weather looks rubbish for surfing but perfect for the fishing. The right way round for a change!
Tight lines to everyone who gets out.

Have a good time down there, they have one or two good beers in Cornwall the only problem I found was that the glasses leak as when ever I had a pint the glass emptied very quickly and that that was all the time some must have been something to do with the glass, lol.

Typical, got some mates coming down the weekend so little opportunity to get out. Weather looks perfect, hopefully the fish will be biting. Might get out saturday for a bit of mackerel fishing, something to put on the barbeque😀

My favourite drink down there was Cornish Orchards Heritage Cider. Wonderful stuff.

Sunday, 6am to 4pm: 3 bass, one a keeper of 5lb; 2 small conger, 5 ray various to a good size, one scad, countless doggies and plenty of mackerel. These were over New Grounds, Sandown Bay and Horse Tail. And a very pink face.
