Sound good to me.
 
Not too fancy.
No strange connotations (fish liberation movement etc)
Easy to make out at a distance.
Can cut them down to size without chopping off the pattern.
The price is right.
Possibilities. Bayliner 2452 as per the avatar. Listening CH10 on the hour. Solent UK.

The thread seems to have died so I'll send everyone out a copy of the list tonight.
 
I won't put the list on the forum because it contains mobile numbers so I have set up an email distribution list and I'll use this. If you don't get a copy of the list it means I don't have your email address so can you PM it to me please.
 
Did we settle on a black and white chequered flag (sticker or flag)?  I'm going to fly one anyway.
 
The other thing to ask is what radio channel does everyone listen into? I know we can optionally set calls up on ch16 as per normal practice but I sense there is little interest in doing this.
 
Channels 6, 8, 72 and 77 are all "ship-to-ship" and not reserved for special use but I think channel 10 is being used in places? Any comments greatfully received. . .
