Well done Dave. You must have set off before me and got back after as didn't see your boat. Tried you on the radio to no avail...
Ray does your boat have a dark blue hull with cream top sides? I think you were just inshore of me.
Looking forward to next weekend, hopefully the weather will be kind again but doesn't look it at the moment.

Very jealous to hear the reports. Out of action until Spring due to knee op but reading the posts helps me focus on getting fit for action in the Spring.

good luck everyone - looks like the better fish have moved in & just need the weather.

Ok wrong boat then...is your boat Ruthless?
Was out by Dean Tail.
Lovely day to be out. Am going to get some Bovril for next time. Had forgotten about drinking that was always a favourite as a kid.

My wife gets it from Wilko or Poundland. They come in vending packs that are ready mixed- just add water.

Something you may like to consider to add to your Bovril for next year:

Get a cheap bottle of Sherry & some large hot Chillis. Slice the Chillis but so seeds do not come out. Pop into bottle of Sherry & leave to fester for a few months.

Make sure you mark the bottle as nearly choked the MiL to death when wrong bottle of sherry was poured!

A dash is great in Bovril & soups if you like a bit of spice.

Wow that mix sounds like a 'killer!'
Will look out for the Bovril ready mix.
Hope the knee sorts itself quickly Whitewash.
