Going out tomorrow in search of plaice. Trying Totland to escape the massive tides. May try Christchurch bay if there's no swell. Will report and catches. Dave

I'm out Wednesday all being well. Hayling bay for plaice I think. Had to shop around for lugworm though, seems to be in short supply.

Out on the Solent has 1 plaice 2 pound. So far

went out Wednesday as planned, dog fish, a half decent smoothound and loads of pouting. No plaice though. Day spoilt loosing anchorOuch. First anchor lost in more than 20 years. Well done Ray on the Plaice nice one.

At least you got out and had a go Dave. Bad luck about the anchor, but you've done well to get away with it for 20 years!
