Hi all you clever fish catchers - right I'm going to give selsey a crack this weekend despite the easterly winds. I've never been to selsey and when I look at the charts it looks rocky close in so where the hell can I chuck my anchor down safely without losing it or sticking a hole in the boat. A nice plaice or two would be nice or a bass or three. So which one of you clever dickies is going to share their mark co-ordinaries with me. might be up for an all nighter so somewhere safe too please
Thanks Andy

I'm out on sat as well there wont be that much swell from the s/w blow on fri, not if its backing n/e for sat witch it looks like its going to. The broblem might be sunday with 15 to 18 mph east s/e, that will throw up a bit of a swell. Might see you out there mate, where you heading.

Try 50 40.336N  0 43.625W and the area north east and east of that. It is marked as Plaice Mark on the community layer of Navionics Charts so it is no secret. In fact if you go there on a sunny weekend you will see 20 plus boats dotted around, some anchored some drifting. Try different areas until you find one that holds fish.

No need for co/ords Andy just go through the Loo Gate which is the safe channel through Boulder Bank and continue for about 2 miles east and you will see all the other boats in the car park.LOL Good luck mate.

Four miles east for the 'in' marks, two miles is the 'old' mark.
