went out with al today on the charter boat moonshine. we had a decent day with lots of dogs and finally whiting. also had 7 conger between 20 and 40lb.

had my first cod this season and a lunker, 24lb 2oz spotty! the skipper then had one just over 18lb inshore so all in all what a cracking day.

to say im happy is an understatement. ive waited along time for a 20lber to get a 24lber im made up. now for a 30lber lol

pictures to follow when i recieve them of the skipper.

sorry m8 lol, he was the conger king, think he had 3. great sport aswell, they all went like stink.

the cod fought alot harder than i would of expected, stayed really deep.

skipper called cod, and i called conger. he was right lol

hes a cracking skipper, really underated in my book. all these big fancy boats get most of the praise, id rather fish with pete as he knows these waters better than most.
