Multiple-hook Paternoster gets my vote. Easy to make easy to use and with three hooks more of a chance to catch.....Hopefully.

2 hook clip down paternoster. Quick, simple, and affective. I always have one rod with it and another experimenting.

1 up 1 down flapper simple to make, doesn't tangle, catches most things, easy to change hook length or hook size. I always fish one rod with this rig.

Has to be a simple runningl edger rig, easy to make even easier to use and you can always add an extra hook in the form of a wish bone hook length to vary baits and increase sent trail.

Bombers and Pompey rigs get my vote for multi hook distance rigs

3 Hook flappers for pout bashing at close range in matches

Pully rigs and up and overs for Pleasure
