Your boat must have better fuel efficiency then mine then !
Pissed off today, haslar have just moved my boat to the furthest point away from the car park......so now I have to walk a friggin mile to even get to the boat. Probably would be cheaper on fuel to park the boat in sanddown bay, get the ferry to the island and hire a car to get me to the boat.

£50 for a days fuel is decent. Get 2 of you and it's £25 each so a cheap day out. I've only got a small boat with a 30hp 2 stroke and it costs me bout £30 for a days fishing at selsey bait fishing at anchor but I need perfect weather.

Ray I'm gonna give it another go when this weather settles down. But I'm gonna go for turbot/brill as I reckon they' might get another run down there.

We been concentrating on Bass and plaice over past month or so coz inshore general fishing is poor this time of year. The Bassing has been fantastic and its getting better!! The Plaice has been great but I hear a couple of boats caught NONE last week !! They may have gone??
But don't worry coz the Cod will be here in a minute, probably here already, so chuck the hook in, pile the squid on your hooks and sit on your hands!! ( Or in the heated wheelhouse on our new boat )
