Hi,
Looking at targeting a few conger in the east solent/portsmouth area, being a diver I know of the wrecks about and what's down there ;) however the browndown/stokes bay wrecks have so far drawn blanks. Do the forts hold any or do I have to go further afield. General areas will be appreciated along with baits. In return I can offer details on some wrecks from underwater experience.

Also how do I upload pictures as I need a ray identifying that I caught the other day.

Thanks karl

This time of year they sit in the wrecks and that's your best chance. Over the winter months they move of to open ground and get caught most trips. Mackerel/cuttle or squid will find you some

Karl, wetwheels on here might have a job for you if you are a diver, in return he might take you out to a congar mark who know's might work out just an idea.

Thanks for the heads up, a trip out with someone else would be ideal in return for a helping hand, normally out by myself and don't really venture far due to that.

Thanks Karl

Conger were a pest during the winter, they were all over the place including Nab Channel marks and Medmery bank.
