Had a charter on Friday.Water a bit dirty & no rag available. Targeted Cod. Lovely cuttle baits etc. No cod but conger & lots of rays. Beautiful day - flat calm & warm. Spent most of day in a tee shirt. Still getting mackerel including tiny ones but this time no jumbos.

Finding the squid chat very interesting & educational. Thanks.

Went out Sunday to browndown had nothing on big cuttle squid baits. Changed one rod to baited feathers and had 3 bass biggest around 2lb and some mackerel and scad.

OK similar to the setup I am using, but I have been using one lure only. I'll persevere! Thank you. N

Thank you! Was hoping I could celebrate with the Cod Comp and moved all the family arrangements to accommodate that but the Cod Comp was postponed because of the winds. Hopefully it will go ahead on the 4th November and there should be a few more cod around by then as well.
