Fished hard yesterday and today, Gilkicker, off Bembridge and the Fingers. Very little action,, strap conger, bass, a plaice, shad, doggies.
Have nailed the squid fishing though, caught 10+ today. They seem to be all over in depths from 20-80’
Doesn’t sound like anyone had great fishing, weather was beautiful however.
No small fish, whiting it pouting which could be used for bait. Might explain why there are no cod either...
Ahab tried you on the radio yesterday but no joy.
Looking forward to another trip out soon.
