been a few selsey brack/bay area boat and shore also i believe the charter boats have found a couple s/e of the nab ,have not heard of any gilkicker/browndown yet but after a few frosty nights and once this bit of windy weather dies down the water should be nice and coloured might be worth a go

We had one 5-6lb on the charter SE Nab on a velvet crab a week or so back! It was bit of a surprise as we were catching decent sized hounds at the time.

We are fishing tomorrow afternoon and Thursday in the Western Solent trying for cod. Very slack tides so smaller weights but with slack tides not expecting big catches but who knows. listening to others we will be trying squid and rag.

Cheers Johnny, if the fish don't play we will have a good time with beer and banter and of course putting the world right, if it wasn't for us fishermen what would the world be like without all of our professional advice on politics and running the UKLOL
