saturday through sunday, the only down side is being a zobie sunday.
might just see how i get on saturday and if its amazing then fish until late as a compromise.

you say that mate but last time i went out it was flat with massive tides and blanked so how do you catch bass in those conditions......drift ?

yeah drift mate. i was out last wed on mine, but anchored east of the island, had a couple and lost one, all on mackerel heads.

on these big tides you can only anchor inside the nab really or head out to the bass banks and drift.

Today wasn't the greatest, we had millions of pout, conger, dog fish and a very pretty 3lb Trigger Fish which was a new one to us.

the weather is looking great for tomozzer hugh are you out on yours or a charter?

What a gorgeous day to be out in a boat. I didn't go fishing but took the boat over to Bembridge as a surprise visit to my grandsons. Cheaper and more fun than the car ferry.
