If you can get this off the ground paul it sounds a great idea, as we all know devil finds work for idle hands, but to get as many youngsters involved has got to be good news, as they are our future, goog luck with it.

Fingers crossed. They got the forecast badly wrong today - gave 10 mph with 14 mph gusts from the south at 10pm last night and then 17mph with 28mph gusts from the south east at 6am this morning.

I got down to the boat and cancelled I just have not got the heart to take money off people sticking them in the lee of the Island when there are no decent fish there.

Tomorrows forecast is all over the place, take your pick of any wind speed from any direction. They should give the forecasters performance related pay, they would soon be skint!

Anyone going for it tomorrow then?  I'm debating whether or not to give it a go - at least up until mid afternoon.

Looks like a F4 ish tomorrow (Sunday) so shouldn't be too bad out there as long as the rain stays north.

I haven't seen any boats fish the blocks for ages so maybe the novelty of the plaice there has worn off? (Compared to the 40 something boats out there when people first realized they were in.) Might even try something local to Pompey ike that just for curiosity's sake.

The Mackerel were back big time at No Man's Land fort couple of days ago in numbers that meant the entire sounder screen was red so all the time there are bait fish out there it bodes well for the future n'est pas? All we need is some decent weather so we can get out to get at the perishing things! :-)

It is anybodies guess at the moment and I have got a back up plan.

Anyway you host your dinner parties and leave the fishing to the men!
