must be the time of year for all batteries to play up, got on my boat last night to give it a quick run up and check over....…..battery dead...… charged it up but its f£$%ed. only ran the engine couple of weeks ago.
wish i never spent as much time onboard last night checking things over.....iv got few busy weekends to make up for not using the beast much last year. "have kids, they make you life complete" they say.... I found it means no time to go fishing, no time to work on your boat and when things get better they are getting more expensive to keep......lol should have kept it in my trousers.....pmsl

as dave said optima are great battery's, but you wont go far wrong with Varta's either. we use bardens at work and get good discounts too. so if you need any give me a hola

Thanks for the advice all...ordered a Varta yesterday which has already arrived so can’t fault Glasgow batteries, good price and free delivery.
Could have told you the kids thing can be expensive, we all tell ourselves they’re worth it and of course they are!
Looks like rubbish weather then next weekend but at least if will have a new battery 😀
