fished gilkicker 8pm till 0030hrs first cast conger about 6lb then couple of pout just thinking this aint bad then nothing at all rest of the night not a bite most interesting thing a mouse come along walked in to my igloo stayed for a couple of mins then went on his merry way dont surpose it helped much having a trawler ploughing up and down about 4/5 hundred yards for the last 2 hours

hi oddballs, cant have you talking to yourself! Browndown and Lee seem to have very muddied waters at the mo. dredging in pompey harbour i think.
As for the trawlers, they never stop 24 7 usually lee slipway area getting hammered for sole i believe.still its their living and they put the hours in.
Tight lines.

hi all fished gilkicker last night no wind not a lot of tide either no weed till just after high tide bait mackerel/squid/cuttle/bluey/lug/rag what a waste 2 whiting 1 pout crabs ripped baits in seconds  then the light show started lighting right over head decided it would be better to put rods as low as possible just in case sat in igloo had a coffee as it chucked it down packed up about 2.30am to make a dash for it to save getting a soaking got back to car dry happy days (not )got a tug by police on way out of gosport just cos it was late didnt mind being stopped but got soaked while talking with police just have well stayed on beach had another coffee
