just heard news of 5 ton of bass landed in pompey and 3 ton of bass landed in selsey sounds a lot to me

yer,and i wonder why are fishing never picks up like it used to.....send the greedy $£%"ers 8 miles out,and lets get are sea bed to the way it should be!!.

I was talking to some commercial lads today and they say there has been no bass landed at Portsmouth for some time because they just are not shoaled up in any numbers yet.
 
However they did tell me of three tons of bass being landed last week at Shoreham.

Oh and I forgot to mention that no Pompey boats will be landing anything like that amount as their fish quota for the entire year is 300 kilo per boat. they have appealed that decision though.
