So another bank holiday weekend is almost upon us....weather looks like it might be settled. Should I get excited?
Haven't been out for some weeks with combination of weather and work.
Drift for my 3 bass, look for some tope, winkle out some bream or head out for wrecks....tides are small so I guess further might be better.
Anyone else feeling optimistic?
Johnny

I've got the same dilemma. Haven't been out for months and I'm planning to take some friends out Saturday and Sunday, and can't decide what to go for. Smoothies and Bream must be an option but I haven't heard of many Tope about yet. Has anyone seen any this year? Will the tides be too small for drifting the shoals for Bass?
Any advice would be most welcome!
Martyn

Head offshore Johnny...

Caroline had a 9.5lb Bass and a 5.5lb Bass on Sunday.
I understand that there are a lot of Cod on the wrecks.
Which ones though??

My running mate... Dean on Pillipipa.

After the trawler left we were the only 2 there.
Unfortunately the fish were not there. (Except the 2 Caroline had)
