3 thornbacks, 1 smoothie, 1 dog, 3 scad, 3 mackies and 12 bream when all we really wanted was bass

Lots and lots of Mackeral in Stokes Bay last few days with a few reasonable bass amongst them

done a drift from dean elbow to  no 7  bouy  2 rods over   i was jiggin 1 for  macky  typicaly the other  caught  1 macky as i swung it in boat  it fell off  no other takes  in a 3 hr  drift  i am sh*t  at this

we have trolled a small paravane with a single hook on a three foot trace ( silver tinfoil hook) when the macks are scarce to find the area they are in, they pop to the surface when hooked, so do the bass, Thumbs Up
if you have to measure it, its too small!!

Fishing off Park Shore on Saturday. Record smoothound. 4inches long, 3 inches smaller than the bait. Put it back to fight another 20 yearsLOL
