Anyone had any early cod yet, I have heard of a few small ones from the beaches, wondered if they might be early this year.Big smile

What summer mate still waiting for it. Only asking cos a mate had a small 2lb codling from Pagham on friday.

they will be at pagham anytime soon, mid sept on spring tides, midnight ht, job done. i had them 3 years running, only 2/3lbers but a good sign. normaly on nice calm warm evenings aswell. best night i saw was adrian farley, had 14 of the beggers. blow/black lug tipped with squid was the bait.

   There was one caught of the needles 2 weeks ago about 8lb and i of the netters i no had one in there nets last Tuesday we had some ything in the solent saturday eve

Any size cod is welcome on the end of my rod!

inshore cod = fu***ng cold weather coming,

The has been 3 had at needles I know of and 1 In the nets around the Solent . Can't believe we are talking cod and yet we are still waiting for summer to come this year.....lol

any macks or bass around the brambles ?
