Steve, can you make the Riser for 7pm? Would welcome your input into our excursion.

I feel like a moron, keep checking the weather every 30 mins!!!

Looks like the forecast has deteriorated for Thursday on the Alderney side - nothing too drastic though......

Definately has to be a Monday crossing if we are to get the four days in. I have phoned Mel at theBon Jour and my group can get in to the Town House for tomorrow night.

If we go it will be a 6am sail. I suspect it will still be snotty as the sea wont have calmed down from this weekend and the forecast wind is going to keep it up. I am prepared to have a look though and if it is too rough the we will have to sack the crossing.

The weather is a bit of a bummer for you guys and your trip, lets hope the sea calms down and you all can set off for a few days of good fishing, and safely

I'll be happy with an uneventful crossing Monday, bassing in the harbour or from the rocks Tuesday and hit the banks Wednesday and Thursday with some wrecking on the way back. BUT it needs to be enjoyable, not an endurance.
